PES 2011 iPhone Retina display update submitted to Apple

iOS football game Pro Evolution Soccer is set to receive Retina display support for all fourth-generation Apple devices.

The update was submitted yesterday, so it may or may not go live in time for Christmas.

PES 2011 allows you to compete in numerous European competitions from the Europa League to the heights of the Champions League. You can also challenge friends to a grudge match in a variety of stadia via both wi-fi and Bluetooth.

Pro Evolution Soccer earned a respectable Bronze Award when it was reviewed back in October.

PES 2011 - Pro Evolution Soccer is available to download now for both iPhone and iPod touch at £2.39 / $3.99.
