Two EA titles for iPad have just gone live in New Zealand. First up is SimCity Deluxe, the latest iteration of a franchise seemingly as old as time itself, which has the player overseeing the construction and management of his very own city. This latest version smooths out many of the flaws inherent in EA's original iPhone outing, optimising navigation for touch control and including an extensive tutorial mode for newcomers. The second title marching steadily towards us from a secure foothold in Australasia is Risk. This iPad version of Hasbro's classic world domination boardgame brings all the power-hungry treachery of the tabletop to your iPad. It supports four-player local matches or six-player pass-to-play, as well as packing an all new 'fixed' ruleset, that improves on the mechanics of the original game. Both titles are priced $9.99 over in New Zealand, which should translate to $6.99 / £3.99 / €5.49 when they touch down worldwide.
