Game Dev Story out now on Android

Kairosoft’s Game Dev Story caused a bit of a stir when it was released on iPhone a few months ago. Twitterers, Facebookers, and specialist press alike all joined in praise of this quirky little gem.
No need to feel left out any longer, Android owners, because it’s out now on the Android Market.
The game puts you in charge of a fictional game developer in a cutesy sim-world. You must take control of your team from the top down, hiring staff and setting the creative direction for each project.
Events mirror the course of real-life history with, for example, “Intendro” releasing a suspiciously familiar white brick of a handheld in the late 1980s. You can choose to support or ignore each new console release, but a bit of specialist knowledge should inform you of which to back.
The Android version of Game Dev Story is looking to be identical to the iPhone version, so it’s as safe a bet as you’re going to get for £3.01.
