Big swords, big hair, big game

Gameloft must be cursing the Apple approval team right now. Not only is its big action-RPG Dungeon Hunter 2 out at midnight tonight across the world’s App Stores, but Eternal Legacy, the company's Japanese RPG-like title with a rumoured 16-18 hour story, has also been released across the globe.

Eternal Legacy is a steam-punk style fantasy sci-fi crossover featuring a huge plot, large cast list, and turn-based combat.

The combat appears to play out a lot like the battle system employed by Final Fantasy XIII, with your team performing actions based on a certain selection of styles against an Active Time Battle-like bar.

Eternal Legacy is out now on the App Store for £3.99 / $6.99 / €5.49. We’ll see how it fares against genuine J-RPG Chaos Rings later this week.
