Thankfully, in Europe we're not afflicted by shouty adverts from Sony's PSP spokesman Marcus, who talks up the gaming credentials of the PSP by trashtalking iPhone.

It's a difficult task for the lad, and one that's just been cleverly sent up with the release on the App Store of Lame Castle, a Canabalt-style running platformer that just happens to have the same generic title that Marcus has highlighted as being representative of hardware that's "not being built for big boy games".

Sheer coincidence?

Of course, it doesn't just happen to be the same title.

Developer Be Rad Entertainment saw the ad and then developed the game to gain any potential free marketing, although confusing the issue somewhat, Lame Castle was first released on Android before coming over to iPhone.

Still, in Marcus' favour, whether the App Store needs another 99c Canabalt, Robot Unicorn Attack or Monster Dash clone is another debate entirely.

Anyhow, here's Marcus in action.
