Pocket God out now for Android, and soon for WP7

Despite the all-new iPad version of Pocket God not yet having been released, thanks to help from an unlikely source - freemium publisher ngmoco - the original iPhone version of the 'pygmy torture simulator' is now live on the Android Market.

Updated 35 times for iPhone, and having sold over three million units, the 99c game is similarly priced for Android.

Ngmoco, and developer Bolt Creative, says they will also release a Windows Phone 7 version in the near future.

"Pocket God has been expanding rapidly since its inception almost two years ago and we've always had our eyes on new platforms," said Dave Castelnuovo, Bolt Creative's CEO.

"To be selected as a launch title for Windows Phone 7 as well as hopping over to Android is something we're truly happy about."

"Collaborating with ngmoco on these monumental launches is just icing on the cake. Their expertise in mobile gaming is unparalleled and their outstanding reputation ensures that these new versions of Pocket God will be the same high quality fans have come to appreciate."
