EA has just released Rock Band Reloaded for the iPhone, making an interesting addition to the series' usual instrument line-up.

A vocal recognition mode has been added to the previous game's four options of guitar, bass, drums, and tap-vocals, putting right Rock Band’s most obvious weakness. Further additions include an Expert mode, as well as the ability to play the game in landscape for those who prefer to rock it out widescreen.

The song selection is also solid, with a good mix of the new and old. 29 tracks are included, with bands such as The Steve Miller Band, 3 Doors Down, Billy Idol, Evanescence, and Megadeth making an appearance.

Rock Band Reloaded has just hit the New Zealand App Store at $6.49. That should translate to £2.99 / $4.99 / €3.99 when the game is available for everyone else later.
