Mega-hit indie PC and Wii title World of Goo is on its way to iPad, with developer 2D Boy announcing that the app is currently going through the approval process.

World of Goo is part physics puzzler and part bridge-building game, although that description does a disservice to the ingenious level-design and adorable visuals.

The iPad version will feature all the levels and sticky stuff that appeared in the original PC version, and it'll take up to 11 separate fingers on screen at once - so sort of multiplayer-ish then.

There's no word on pricing just yet, and nor is there any sign of the previously announced iPhone version either, but we’ll keep you posted should any new details come to light.
