Street Fighter IV iPhone update: Sagat and Dee Jay weigh in
Tiger...uppercut!
Two more warriors have stepped into the ever-expanding Street Fighter IV ring.
If you're not familiar with the series, Street Fighter is a classic 2D fighter that's survived on its wits and fists alone since the late '80s.
Street Fighter IV for iPhone bagged a Silver Award at review for its pinpoint touch controls. Since then, the game's character roster has been slowly filling out via updates.
Riding in on the latest of these come eye-patch toting Muay Thai nasty man Sagat and Jamaican kickboxer Dee Jay.
They’re both available for single-player and versus, but you’ll have to take part in three versus matches to unlock Dee Jay - something that may prove an issue if your friends don’t own a copy of the game.
The update only packs a medium punch of other extras, but these do include a neat Bluetooth matchmaking feature, Game Center support, and the ability to purchase the game’s background music from an in-app store.
Street Fighter IV 1.00.05 is out on the App Store now, priced $9.99/ £5.99 / €7.99.
