Canabalt developer brings popular web game SteamBirds to iPhone and iPad
Gliding into the App Store
Canabalt developer Semi Secret has released another Flash-based success onto iPhone and iPad: strategy title SteamBirds, which was originally developed by Radial Games and Spry Fox.
The game is out now in New Zealand, which means it should be out at midnight.
A turn-based title, Steambirds has you guiding an aircraft through 20 missions in which you must make use of a variety of bombs, missiles, and poisonous gases to destroy eight steam-powered aircraft.
Additions for the iOS version include new graphics, music, and touchscreen controls.
It's priced $1.29 in New Zealand, which means it should cost 59p / $0.99 / €0.79.
