Sticky buttons gives tactile controls to iPhone Street Fighter

Here’s a unique iPhone accessory that could prove to be the perfect stocking filler for any Street Fighter IV obsessive.

The Tactile+Plus is a set of widgets that you stick onto an iPhone’s screen, giving you a bumpy, tactile feel when using on-screen virtual joysticks.

So instead of rubbing your thumb across your iPod touch’s glassy screen, you’re tapping away on glossy nubbins.

These sticky dimples translate your thumb’s conductive nature to the screen below. You simply apply them over the top of the game’s joypad and buttons, and play away.

As you can imagine, it’s not going to work for every game. Joysticks vary in size from game to game, and peeling them off every time you want to send a tweet will certainly grate. But if you’re addicted to a game like Street Fighter IV, it could be a perfect purchase.

The kit is available from retailer Nosho-An for 600 Yen (about £4.50 in real people money).
