Sonic The Hedgehog 4 iPhone gets an early sale

Just three weeks since launching on the App Store, Sonic’s fabled return to classic side-scrolling speediness has already had its price slashed in a limited time sale.
We thought Sonic The Hedgehog 4, Episode 1 was pretty good, giving it a Bronze Award for authentically capturing the old skool fun of the franchise’s Mega Drive roots and decent touchscreen controls.
The game features four zones, with four acts each, and seven bonus stages to beat. And it wouldn’t be a classic Sonic game without chaos emeralds to hunt out, which turn our spiky hedgehog friend into golden-skinned super Sonic.
The game also features two exclusive levels for the device, making use of the accelerometer inside the iPhone and iPod touch, but the update - which promises Game Center support - still hasn’t made its way to the App Store.
