It’s been almost two years since it was released on the iPhone, but I Love Katamari has just received a content update that adds support for Apple’s Game Center, as well as a whole new stage to roll around in called ‘Resort’.

I Love Katamari is the iPhone version of the bizarre home console title that first introduced the world to the ‘flamboyant’ King of All Cosmos and his crazy love of balls-that-roll-and-pick-things-up.

Starting off as a fairly nondescript ‘ball of stuff’, over the course of each stage your contraption sucks in anything of a similar size, starting off with small plants and ending up with entire buildings bundled into the bulging mass.

The new Game Center support means that there are now leaderboards for how huge you’ve managed to get, as well as fourteen achievements to aim for.

I Love Katamari managed to suck in a Pocket Gamer Bronze Award on release, and is available to purchase for £2.99/$4.99/€3.99 using the link below.
