Puzzle Agent for iPhone update fixes graphics problems, destroys saved games

Telltale has updated its strange mini-puzzle adventure game Puzzle Agent today, adding support for the iPhone 4’s Retina display and sorting out a few graphical glitches that were present in the game on release.

You might want to stop reaching out for the update tab in the App Store, though, as it also breaks any existing save files you might have on the iPhone.

Oddly, this problem isn’t just reported in a random review by ‘C00lgUy92’ on the App Store, but is talked about inside the app description itself, where Telltale writes: "If you are currently in the midst of playing through Puzzle Agent, we recommend that you complete the full game before updating. Save games do not carry over with update."

So you can pretty much guarantee your saves are toast if you do decide to update.
