Angry Birds, the 5 million-selling poultry-flinger on iPhone, iPad, Android, and Nokia Ovi has got plenty of fans. It just so happens that some of its admirers happen to be slightly more famous than others.

Take British Prime Minister David Cameron. Veteran games bloke Andy Payne tweeted earlier this morning, “The Prime Minister is a huge Angry Birds fan and has paid for the full game . Times are a changin'”. He later revealed that Cameron wants more top iPad games, so Payne is compiling a list.

Nick Clegg, however, was recently photographed playing the Nintendo Wii.

David Cameron is the latest in a long line of stars to reveal their addiction to the physics puzzler. Geordie football nutter Paul Gascoigne is apparently such a massive fan that he bought an iPad just to play it. £429.59 is a hell of a price to pay for an addiction, though it's kinder on the liver than some alternatives.

US TV host Conan O’Brien revealed that he was, “on level 4 of Angry Birds” in a recent video, but had to shove the iPad in a drawer to shut up their incessant squawking. Glee star Cory Monteith tweeted this summer “Angry Birds is taking over my life.”
