The next challenger in the tablet PC arena has been spotted boarding a train in Australia and being interrogated by a tech enthusiast.

Actually, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab was in the process of being given a ‘wild test’ by an anonymous worker, rather than an autonomous being capable of navigating the Australian railway system by itself.

Spotted by an Electronista contributor, who proceeded to interrogate the man in an awkward conversation (captured via the wonders of a camera phone), the 7-inch version of the tablet was described as ‘awesome’ and ‘different’ by the tester.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab uses Android 2.2 as the platform and the 1Ghz Hummingbird processor found in the Galaxy S and Wave, which is quite the mover when it comes to 3D graphics.

It is expected to be released later this year.
