Amazon lists new HTC Desire HD, jumps gun
Price and date revealed?
Amazon has posted a listing for the new HTC Desire HD handset, complete with price and date of release. However, it has since been removed from the site.
Before vanishing from the site, Amazon priced the handset at a princely sum of £415, and set the release date for October 1st.
No tech specs or images were displayed, although a PG article from last week listed a few new features including an 8MP camera able to shoot 720p HD video, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and a 4.3-inch display.
There’s a reasonable chance that Amazon's date is near enough spot-on, especially with an announcement from HTC expected on September 15th.
