Front Mission 3 is set to be made available on the PlayStation Network for PSP and PS3.

The game was originally released on the first PlayStation console way back in 2000, and despite being the third one in the series, it was the first to be released in North America and Europe. It features two campaigns worth over 150 hours of gameplay.

Set in 2112, you follow the story of Kazuki Takemura, a Wanzer (whopping great walking tank) test pilot as he gets caught up in a national conspiracy. It all centres around an explosion that occurs during his visit to a Yokosuka military base.

This turn-based strategy game involves a combination of battles and cutscenes, as you fight it out on a grid-system to eliminate the enemy. You can also gain new combat skills based on your customisable Wanzer's various parts and weapons.

There's no news as to when it'll be released or how much it'll cost. We'll let you know as soon as we find out more.
