FarmVille for iPhone gets fixes and features in free update

| FarmVille by Zynga

Zynga’s insanely popular agricultural iPhone game FarmVille, based on the 60 million played Facebook phenomenon, has received a free update that's filled to the brim with bug fixes and new features.

If you’d had trouble with your farm not loading, had problems thanks to dodgy connection problems, had assets blink out of existence, dealt with batty icon badges, or had issues in displaying market stalls, version 1.03 should help fix that tidal wave of bugs.

Notifications have been improved with info on who actually sent a neighbour request or gift in the push notification itself, as well as new notifications for social missions, collectibles, crop mastery, and bushel details.

You’ll now get “while you were away updates” to keep you up-to-date, the app will no longer shut off your tunes when launched, and the game’s biplane is now supported in the mobile version.

iTunes comments show that the bug fixes might not be as extensive as hoped, with some users complaining of seeing the same old bugs, while others are experiencing brand new syncing troubles. Let us know your experiences in the comments below.
