Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night whips onto iPhone

Konami’s vampiric match-three puzzler come RPG, Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night, is now available on the App Store.

Encore of the Night marks the debut of the long-running Castlevania series on iPhone and iPod touch, using key elements and characters from Castlevania lore.

In this latest iteration you can play either as Alucard, the son of Dracula, or a host of the aforementioned recognisable folk from Castlevania stories past, including Symphony of the Night veterans.

Over 20 hours of gameplay are promised by the developers, which should be plenty to keep you occupied before Premier League football returns.

The gameplay uses the mix of match-three and RPGing made successful by Puzzle Quest. There are over 20 honours to earn and 100 items and spells to collect in the Transylvanian castle location.
