PopCap confirms games on Android in 2010

Eagled eyed Pocket Gamer tipster Charles spotted that PopCap’s got a work-in-progress Android page on its website. There’s nothing there yet, but this is pretty compelling evidence that the house that Bejeweled built will be heading towards the Android soon.
We asked PopCap, who told us straight up that the developer “can confirm that yes, we're bringing our games to Android over the rest of 2010 and beyond”. Popcap couldn’t talk about any specific titles, though.
Popcap is a heavy supporter of mobile devices, bringing most of its top games to generic Java handsets and the iPhone. Nice to know that Android users will get their hands on yet another collection of top games.
