Sequel put on hold

iPhone RPG Ravensword: The Fallen King on sale, £1.19

Crescent Moon Games's epic fantasy adventure, Ravensword: The Fallen King, is on sale for the weekend.

The Oblivion styled magical romp has you trotting about an open world, finding treasure, riding horses, hunting animals and fighting big, nasty monster types. We gave it a Bronze Award back in late 2009 when it was first released.

The team at Crescent Moon was working on a sequel to the game, but its been put on hold while the developer is heavily in production with Aralon: Sword and Shadow, Ultra Kid: Mystery of the Mutants, and Rimelands: Hammer of Thor.

"Ravensword 2 will be taking a backseat until we finish these current games," Josh Presseisen, lead artist at Crescent Moon, told us. However, the time off will be good for Ravensword 2, as the new developements will introduce a "massive code base to use with the game."

The developer wouldn't let on when the game is going back up in price, so don't wait around if you're interested. Ravensword is available now on iPhone and iPod touch for £1.19 / $1.99 / €1.59.
