At the WWDC conference in San Francisco, Zynga's Mark Pincus bounded on stage to excitedly announce FarmVille for iPhone.

That's right, the 70 million active farmers of Facebook's top agricultural time-mining sim can harvest their crops and look after their stallions on iPhone. It all syncs up to your Facebook game, so you can play the same patch o' land on the go.

You'll be able to get new content through in-app purchases, and there's a snow leopard that's exclusive to the iPhone edition. Brilliant. It'll also support push notifications, of course, so you'll know when to harvest withered turnips.

The game will be available at the end of June.
