iPads arriving one day early in the UK
|

Apple fanatics in the UK are rejoicing right now as delivery companies UPS and TNT are dropping off shiny new tablets to those who ordered iPads online.

While a product arriving a day before official release is about as exciting as balsa wood, Apple is known for keeping products from shipping until the exact release. Early this year, delivery companies in the United States sat on crates of iPads until the official date.

Not everyone has got their iPad. Some handheld gaming site news editors, for example, are still anxiously checking their tracking number and listening out for the doorbell. But forum goers and Twitter users are posting pictures of their shiny new tablets, which only makes the wait so much more excruciating.

Thanks to MacRumours forum dweller One Love 1867 for his photo. Now rip off the shrink wrap and start playing with it, you maniac.
