|

Another week, another bucketload of new iPhone apps for the App Stork is poke his long bill into.

As per usual, he's been hunting around in the Pocket Gamer forums - most notably the iPhone developer section - for all the latest releases the App Store has to offer.

Want to be featured by the Stork? Get on down to the forums and post about your game. He's susceptible to screenshots, but a video or two really gets his attention.

On with this week's finest releases.

RebuildChile - Games For Food

The Stork is a big fan of good causes, so RebuildChile definitely caught his eye. Inspired by the terrible earthquake recently in Chile, your challenge is to clear the debris with your bulldozer via a series of puzzles.

The better you do, the more houses can be build for the citizens. However, moving your bulldozer costs money, so you need to balance work against outcome.

All the profits for RebuildChile go to UNICEF to help all the families in Chile rebuild their lives, so if this sounds like your kind of thing, make sure to fork out $1.99 / £1.19.

Pinch - Coatsink Software
There's a lot of pinching involved on the iPhone, from zooming into a map to resizing your photo albums. It's no surprise, then, that Pinch wants you to do exactly that - pinch your way through a variety of mazes and puzzles.

Small coloured balls called Norbs need to be pinched and dragged to the end of each level, fusing together to produce Nano-orbs for tackling the more difficult obstacles. Nano-orbs are bigger for sliding over gaps, and change different colours to bypass certain hindrances.

Pinch is available to download from the App Store from 14th May.

Tunes Attack! - Nemoid Studio Rhythm games for the iPhone are all beginning to merge together and look the same. Tunes Attack! hopes to change all that, throwing in a few mini-games and using all your own music.

Similar to the Tap Tap series, notes scroll down the screen and you tap them with the beat. The game can use any of the music on your iPhone, generating beat lines for it on the fly. There's also a scooter driving game and a space shmup, again both generated via your music.

Online scoreboards and a two-player mode complete the package. Tunes Attack! is available from the App Store for $2.99 / £1.79.
