Space Invaders Infinity Gene may be coming to consoles

The iPhone's take on Space Invaders, a Darwinian spin on the classic shooter which features a constant evolution of game mechanics, may be coming to consoles, including the DS and PSP.
The Australian board of age classification, the OFLC, has pegged Space Invaders Infinity Gene for a release on consoles. It will be published by Ubisoft, who handled publishing duties on Space Invaders Extreme.
Hey, it might come to Xbox Live Arcade or PlayStation Network, in which case we're sorry for wasting your time, devout pocket gamer. But it could also pop up on DS or PSP, or their download services DSiWare and PSP Minis.
More than likely, we'll find out more at E3 next month.
