Bonsai Blast for the iPhone gets a free version

Glu’s Pocket Gamer bronze award-winning puzzler, Bonsai Blast is now available free on the App Store for a limited time.

The paid game is still available, but Glu has also released a free, ad-supported version as well.

Bonsai Blast is a gem-matching game in the spirit of Zuma in which groups of multi-coloured balls slowly snake their way towards an endpoint.

Naturally, they must be stopped before they do whatever it is that multicoloured balls do by matching the colours bby firing more coloured balls from your central cannon.

There are over 90 levels, two game modes and it was was described by Stuart as a ‘satisfying and challenging puzzle game’ when we reviewed it last year, so it’s certainly worth checking out.

No word on how long this version will be available, so best to grab it while you can [App Store link]
