Zeemote gives analogue control SDK to Android developers

It seems my predecessor Spanner had something of an affinity for the Zeemote, a Bluetooth connected controller for mobile devices, so I'd better carry on the torch with the latest Zeemote news.

Zeemote has announced the availability of an Android software development kit (SDK) that allows developers on the Android to implement Zeemote JS1 connectivity into their games.

Any Android game maker can download the SDK and integrate it into their game. As well as offering gaming specific buttons and controls for mobile games, the Zeemote can turn a phone with TV-out into an impromptu games console.

The Zeemote currently offers SDKs for JavaME and BlackBerry devices. You can download all of Zeemote's SDKs, including today's Android release, at the company's website.
