Windows Phone 7 will require Windows Live ID account
In other news, humans require oxygen to live
More information has been leaked concerning Microsoft’s exciting new mobile OS, Windows Phone 7. We have to say, though, it’s hardly the most surprising of revelations.
It’s emerged via a leaked document discovered by Dutch site Tweakers.net that Windows Phone 7 users will require a Windows Live ID account – especially if they want to access the Windows Marketplace app store.
This is neither surprising nor against the smartphone grain – Apple’s iPhone requires an iTunes account, while Google’s Android demands a Gmail account in order to access its full delights.
Elsewhere, the document confirms what we already knew – that Windows Phone 7 will require an ARM7 processor (such as Qualcomm's Snapdragon or TI's OMAP) to run.
