Game Gripper slides buttons onto the Motorola Droid

Most mobile handsets aren't designed with marathon game sessions and hand-cramping button mashing in mind. When it comes to most phones, you'll be lucky if Tetris is playable.
It's a problem that's plagued the Motorola Droid as well, especially as the Android smartphone's golden D-pad is situated on the far right of the pull-out QWERTY keyboard.
Luckily, a Utah based manufacturer has the solution. The Game Gripper slides on top of the Droid's keyboard, giving you a D-Pad and eight buttons. Pressing the new gamer controls pushes down on the right keyboard letters, allowing you to control something like a Super Nintendo emulator in style.
It'll set you back about $20 ($15 and $5 shipping), and international postage is available.
The Game Gripper is exclusive to the Motorola Droid currently, but the company writes " but we are already working on designs for other phones." The mock-ups show designs for the BlackBerry Bold, the Palm Pixi Plus, and the Motorola Devour.
