Professor Layton creator drops hints of new title for 3DS

At the risk of ripping a hole in the space-time continuum, Professor Layton's creators at Level-5 hinted that the company's next title, Time Travelers, is being made for a device that ‘doesn’t exist yet’.

This obviously means that they’ve been working on it in the future and have journeyed back to save the past from not having news about its release.

Alternatively, it’s because Time Travelers is being made for the 3DS.

Not too many details were revealed in the interview with Japanese gaming mag Famitsu, not even a genre, but director Jiro Ishi did say that the new game will feature ‘an idea about time travel that has never been done before, even in movies or books.’

So that’s an idea that hasn’t existed, on a platform that doesn’t exist by a team that does exist, in a game that will exist.
