iPhone jailbreak software Cydia running iPad
Infection spreads to orchard
Given the iPad's close family resemblance to its smaller sibling, it came as no surprise when the iPad was jailbroken the day after release and running a SNES emulation soon after.
Now, @cdevwill has uploaded screens of Cydia running on iPad, and even what appears to be Mario 64 (albeit with a SNES controller). As reported by iPadintosh, Cydia seems to have been simply scaled up for iPad, rather than a bespoke redesign, but these shots could depict a work in progress.
Needless to say, going down this route may have a subtle effect on the validity of your warranty, but it’s clear that the Cydia moth is resistant to every pesticide Apple throws at it.
@cdevwill has posted more photos since, so take a look at the gallery.
