Given the iPad's close family resemblance to its smaller sibling, it came as no surprise when the iPad was jailbroken the day after release and running a SNES emulation soon after.

Now, @cdevwill has uploaded screens of Cydia running on iPad, and even what appears to be Mario 64 (albeit with a SNES controller). As reported by iPadintosh, Cydia seems to have been simply scaled up for iPad, rather than a bespoke redesign, but these shots could depict a work in progress.

Needless to say, going down this route may have a subtle effect on the validity of your warranty, but it’s clear that the Cydia moth is resistant to every pesticide Apple throws at it.
