With a successful stable of iPhone flight games under its belt, SGN is hitting a new high with iPad launch game EXO-Planet.

The multiplayer shooter exits the atmosphere for rounds of capture-the-flag between two-player teams. Matches last for three minutes or end earlier when one team manages to nab three flags.

Since you're in space, there's no gravity and you'll have to move about the maps with that in mind.

As you can see from the nice-looking screenshots, you come equipped with an armoured Juggernaut EXO-suit that can be upgraded using earned cash referred to as Scrip in the game.

Naturally, you can also purchase new weapons and upgrades to complement your default LX-Automatic rifle. An EM-Blaster, PA-Cannon, and CL-Pulse Rifle are available.

SGN explains that the game can be played online via 3G or wi-fi; additionally, you can link up locally using Bluetooth. As a note, 3G won't be possible until the launch of iPad units with the feature launch later this year.

EXO-Planet is available now for iPad at a price of $6.99/£3.99.
