IUGO's iPhone and iPod touch games will be updated to support iPad, making them universal across all three devices.

As a way of rewarding faithful gamers who already have a copy of select titles for iPhone or iPod touch, no additional purchase will be necessary when downloading updates introducing iPad support.

"IUGO's upcoming iPad titles will be universal builds. If you already own them you can play them across ALL devices!" tweeted director of business development Sarah Thomson.

Implode, Zombie Attack! Second Wave, Cliffed, and ESCAPE: Norm's World will be universal across all three devices following the iPad launch on April 3.

Currently iPhone- and iPod touch-only versions of Implode, Zombie Attack! Second Wave, and Cliffed are available on the App Store. ESCAPE: Norm's World is expected for all three devices next week.

Whether this means the price of IUGO's iPad games will be the same as the already released iPhone games, or whether IUGO will raise the price of its iPhone versions to match the expected higher iPad game prices remains to be seen.
