iPhone RPG Zenonia 2: The Lost Memories hacks its way closer to release

The sequel to million-selling iPhone title Zenonia will be out on the App Store soon, bringing improved graphics, 155 maps and ‘real life systems’ to the successful series. We’re not sure if that last feature is just a by-product of wonky translation, but it sounds great whatever it is.

Zenonia is an RPG with real-time combat viewed from that classic 16-bit era Zelda perspective. Unlike the original, Zenonia 2 appears to have improved the D-pad as well as clearing up the UI in general for a larger view area.

Zenonia really impressed us back in May last year, with Tracy describing it as ‘vintage role-playing at its zenith’ before handing it a chest with a Pocket Gamer Silver Award inside.

The previously slated release date was in March, so expect the game to arrive any day now.
