GDC 2010: Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge: Special Edition coming to iPhone

The original Secret of Monkey Island for Commodore Amiga came on four floppy disks. Its follow up, LeChuck's Revenge, came on eleven. Purists who feel that the adventure started to lose its way as soon as voice-acting and (relatively) hi-res graphics got involved generally agree that LeChuck's Revenge is the pinnacle of the series.
And it's coming to iPhone.
This is no real surprise. The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition came out on iPhone last year to general acclaim, and once the sequel was announced at GDC for XBLA, PC, and PSN, it was inevitable that news of an iPhone version would follow.
A little while after the announcement a Twitter user asked LucasArts which platforms the game would appear on and got this response:

LeChuck's Revenge reunites the player with Guybrush Threepwood as he bounces between several Caribbean islands trying to reconcile with Elaine Marley and defeat his nemesis the ghost pirate LeChuck. It's beautiful.
The Secret of Monkey Island: LeChuck's Revenge will be out this summer.
