Assassin’s Creed II: Multiplayer currently free on the App Store

Assassin’s Creed II: Multiplayer for the iPhone has leapt over a few rooftops, swallow-dived into some hay and rolled out into the App Store today for the princely sum of nothing.

Don’t get complacent, though, as the price will clamber its way back up to £1.79 ($2.99) in 48 hours time.

ACII:M is a multiplayer-only, top-down assassination game in which up to four players race around renaissance Italy attempting to off each other by jumping out of crowds and using ‘LETHAL POWER-UPS’, according to the overly-enthusiastic product description.

We hope to get a review up soon, but in the meantime hit the App Store link to go straight to the product page.
