Nintendo files trademark for Last Window (Hotel Dusk 2) in Europe

Despite not making an appearance or even garnering an announcement at Nintendo Europe’s recent London summit, it appears that Hotel Dusk 2, otherwise known as Last Window, may be making its way over to the continent after all.

The trademark-trawling Siliconera located the title on the European trademark database, but were unable to find a similar entry on the US equivalent.

Last Window: Midnight Promise has been out in Japan for about a month and a half now and sees the Take on Me music video-styled salesman Kyle Hyde tackle another baffling mystery, set this time in his own apartment block.

New features include a companion book to the story, which sounds odd considering the game itself plays out like an interactive novel anyway, and the ability to cut people off mid-conversation if you’re finding them a bit bor-

We really liked Hotel Dusk: Room 215 when it was released back in 2007, planting a glittering silver Pocket Gamer award on its scribbled jacket, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated with any further news as and when we get it.
