Most crappy iPhone game ever - Crap of Defense - finally out
It's really dreadful apparently
It's Friday afternoon, so it must be time for another excellent press release from the chaps at iFun4all.
They've just released the most crappy game ever for the iPhone - Crap of Defense - and they're really proud of the fact.
It almost didn't happen though.
After it was originally rejected by Apple, Fülöp Mészáros, self-styled worst Hungarian game designer (or second best as his mum prefers), struggled down to the nearest Internet cafe - 100km away - and resubmitted the game.
"I did wonder why the hell Apple wanted us to upload the same binary?" he queried.
After learning that the game have to be corrected before resubmitted, the team went on the third trip to connect to the Internet.
"These trips cemented our friendship" commented Boris Czernienko, the game's deaf music composer, who during the journey went blind drinking the local moonshine.
"I can see why it's so rarely served in bars?" he jokes. "Well, actually, I'm blind, so I can't see, but you know what I mean right?"
The team then spent two days trying to solve the error raised by Apple, wondering why Objective C added a dot at the end of first line code. In the end they were able to solve the problem. "It turned out there was just some dirt on our monitor," says project manager Laszlo Kovács.
But all the effort and sacrifice is worth it now, with Crap of Defense is now available on the App Store.
