While the Milestone is continuing to turn heads in the western world, manufacturer Motorola has opted to unleash a slightly different beast in another sector of the global market.

South Korean mobile lovers have been able to get their grubby hands on the Motoroi for around a month now, but the phone has nevertheless been proudly shown off at this year’s Mobile World Congress.

Essentially a Milestone without the slide-out QWERTY keyboard, the Motoroi boasts the same powerful innards and glorious 3.7 inch display of its stable mate but also comes with some additional surprises.

For starters, it’s capable of capturing 720p video footage with its 8-megapixel camera and even comes with an HDMI port so you can connect it to your telly and appreciate your self-produced clips.

The phone is also able to receive a digital TV signal, although this element only functions when you’re on Korean soil.

Damien's mum hoped he would grow out of playing silly video games and gain respectable employment. Perhaps become a teacher or a scientist, that kind of thing. Needless to say she now weeps openly whenever anyone asks how her son's getting on these days.
