Flight Control coming to Windows Mobile 7 Marketplace
It's big and colourful, but it won't work on 6.5
This year's Mobile World Congress has been surprisingly exciting, with smartphones bouncing off the walls and touchscreens lining the floors. Not least of this was thanks to Microsoft, which took great pleasure in revealing the long-awaited Windows Mobile 7.
It appears to be a total reboot of the WinMo system, especially now a few screenshots of the all-important application store have been rolled out across the internet.
The Windows Mobile Marketplace looks to be quite a bit bigger and fancier than your usual app stores, with a big splash screen reserved for the hottest game of the moment. This is followed by a menu for your music, videos, podcasts and, of course, games.
Prominently featured in the screenshot below is iPhone and now DSiWare smash Flight Control.
It also appears to work in a nice slidey manner, not unlike the iPhone's home screens, with a colourful, customisable wallpaper smartening things up. Looks like a pretty nice place to shop.
