Remember Fortix? It was a launch Minis title back in October that, although a little rough around the edges, had definite appeal.

The concept is based around capturing land, Qix-style, while under fire from cannons and being attacked by dragons and bats. Doesn’t sound like much, but done well it could be fabulous.

Developer Nemesys clearly believes so, too, because it’s just dropped us a line to let us know it’s been busy reworking its creation. The new version promises to solve the main criticisms of the original release, with improved controls, tarted up graphics, shorter loading times, and polished game mechanics.

The updated Fortix is due to hit the PlayStation Store on February 11th (that's tomorrow if you're, er, reading this today). If all is as Nemesys claims, it could be well worth checking out.
