UK developer Astraware has just parted company with its one-time owner publisher Handmark, but it’s business as usual in terms of game releases.

Indeed, it’s released its first Android game of 2010 in the shape of Astraware Casino.

A collection of 11 popular casino games, it contains Blackjack, Texas Hold 'Em No Limit Poker, Video Poker, Video Derby, 3 Card Poker, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, Slots, Video Keno and Texas Hold 'Em Limit Poker.

Each game comes with instructions on how to play, and you'll get $1000 in your virtual wallet so you can start playing right away. There’s also a virtual bank where you can get an overdraft if you’re down on your luck. And you can earn rewards for special achievements to put in your Souvenir Suitcase.

"We're thrilled to be releasing Astraware Casino for Android devices today," said David Oakley, Astraware's Chief Technology Officer. "We've designed the game to make the most of each Android phone's capabilities, from the HTC Tattoo up to the Motorola Droid or Google Nexus One."

Astraware Casino is out now priced $4.99. You can get it via the Android Market or through Astraware’s dedicated store.
