HeroCraft announces PC strategy game Majesty is iPad bound

We're sure there's going to be a lot of strategy games coming to iPad and Russian publisher HeroCraft is at the head of the tankrush with the news that it's licensed PC title Majesty from Paradox Interactive for the iPad.

"We're impressed by the new Apple tablet device" said Alexey Sazonov, HeroCraft's marketing director.

"We believe it will provide the ideal platform for gaming, filling the gap between traditional desktop and mobile phone devices. Coming from a strong PC background Majesty will work tremendously well on a high resolution portable device like the iPad."

And look, this is what the end result will probably look like...

However, HeroCraft obviously believes the game will work well on small screens too as the game will also be released for Android, BlackBerry and Java as well.

Developed by US studio Cyberlore in 2000, Majesty has you playing as the ruler of a cliched role-playing universe in which you have to hire wandering bands of heroes to do your dirty work. Think of it as real-time strategy mixed with a dash of god gaming.
