iPhone gaming podcast: Episode 56 - The Day After Tomorrow edition
|

We’re battling against adversity in this week’s podcast. I had to record from the comfort of my absolutely freezing car, Rob’s iPod touch is on suicide watch, and Chris is so distracted by all the pretty white marshmallow fluff outside that he needs to keep digging a pen into his hand to stay focussed.

But focussed he remained, as did we all, despite our travails, so that we could deliver news about Assassin’s Creed II’s stealthy appearance then disappearance from the App Store, Gameloft’s mighty sales figures, the App Store’s 3 billionth download and more dreaded copyright wrangling from an overzealous Mario fan.

In the rumour mine we dedicate a solid chunk of discussion to the mystery device of the moment, namely the iSlate (or at least, we think it might be called that) before letting Alex and his dog Oscar loose on the podcast yet again, for another one of his game pitches.

Sound like a laugh? You’d be right but to remove all doubt just head to iTunes and download the latest episode. Either that or get it via your RSS reader of choice or through this here link, which connects to a browser-based streaming version.

That’s all from us for this week, but be sure to tune in on Monday for the second part of the podcast, in which we’ll be discussing the best games of 2009 that we never got around to playing (until now).
