One of our top 10 most anticipated iPhone games of 2010 has been postponed - EA Mobile has announced a slight delay in the release of Mirror's Edge.

When prompted for a specific release date for the game, a representative of the publisher informed us that it had been pushed back from its original January release.

"The launch Mirror's Edge for iPhone and iPod Touch has been postponed to early 2010. This will allow the development team to add features and enhancements that will expand the gameplay experience."

EA Mobile wouldn't explain precisely what features and enhancements are being undertaken, but we're more than happy to allow developer IronMonkey more time to polish up what already looks to be a stellar game.

While we wait for word on the release date and these new features, make sure to check out our hands-on impressions of the game.
