Com2uS brings Homerun Battle 3D to Android

Multiplayer baseball game goes cross-platform

Com2uS brings Homerun Battle 3D to Android

It's one of the best baseball games on iPhone and now Korean publisher Com2uS has released a version of Homerun Battle 3D for Android.

A casual baseball game, all you have to do it bash the ball when it's pitched at you. Position of the bat and timing are everything. You tilt your phone to position and touch anywhere on the screen to swing.

One of the reasons the game is so good however is the multiplayer aspect, which means you can go head-to-head against a friend to see who can hit the most balls in a certain time period. This works over wi-fi or 3G, and appears to work cross-platform, so you'll probably end up playing someone on an iPhone or iPod touch.

Of course, this doesn't really matter, as you're not really interacting with the other player. The games just counts who scores the most homeruns.

And like the iPhone version, you can also customise your player with hundreds of items such as new clothes and branded bats.

There's no video of the Android version of the game available, but you can get a good idea of how it all works in this iPhone trailer.
