Hidden object game reveals itself

James Patterson's Women's Murder Club: Death in Scarlet for mobile imminent

If there’s a Steven Spielberg of page-turner fiction it would have to be James Patterson. The man has had 19 consecutive number one New York Times bestselling novels (thanks, Wikipedia).

Some of his most popular work is found in his Women’s Murder Club series of novels, which concerns itself with four friends - a detective, a district attorney, a medical examiner, and a crime reporter - who solve mysteries together. Sounds like some dream mix of Diagnosis Murder and Charlie’s Angels to me.

Anyway, the franchise has been making its way over to gaming devices in recent years, and now the mobile is set to get in on the action with Death in Scarlet.

Rather than some dull interactive book, this looks to be a fun little hidden object game whereby you must gather clues in each murder scene. There’s also a forensic analysis element, though we’re unsure how this plays out at present.

Keep an eye out for our review in the coming weeks.
