PopCap reveals late January release date for Plants vs Zombies iPhone

It was in August that we first learned that PopCap was bringing the excellent tower defence title Plants vs Zombies to iPhone. Now, thanks to a reply to a question left in an unrelated thread by a follower on PopCap's Facebook page, we know that it's coming at the end of January.

Plants vs Zombies see you placing different kinds of plant on a lawn in order to repel zombies as they shamble their way towards a house. Featuring humour and pop references, the game is immensely popular among casual and hardcore gamers.
No details yet on price, but we'll keep you informed.
