Nice game. No price.

Amazing as it seems, I often seem to get into trouble for being opinionated. At least I am good at backing down. I've had some practice.

Which brings us neatly onto Konami's iPhone game Wire Way: something I previously described with the phrase, "Nice game. Shame about the price".

Something Konami politely suggested I might be wrong about (the latter, not the former).

The appropriateness of the game's pricing - $4.99 plus additional stages for $1.99 - is still being debated as I play through the various levels that see you firing Wiley the mad space alien using elastic wires.

But just in case price was an issue for you, there's now a free Lite version of Wire Way for you to try out.

It contains three of the total 32 levels, which are also playable in the Flick Trial (least moves) and Strategery [sic] (puzzle) modes.

Wire Way is out now, either free [App Store link] or priced $4.99, €3.99 or £2.99.
